Have to say though, that the red cylinder heads are a stylistic faux pas. Red engines always look ridiculous (don't they Honda XLV750?)
Don't quote me, but red heads are a sign/trade mark of MBP (Martin Brickwood Performance???) worked heads. Oversize valves, redesigned ports, reworked combustion chambers etc...
not all the new blue bikes have red cylinders.....always thought the ohlins shocks look upside down though.
Hi there, Thanks, it's is a German Diopa Unit. Few of the lads on here have fitted em, the unit comes in red tho it's not a perfect colour match by any stretch (it's colour impregnated fibreglass), I sprayed mine to match the original colour plus added the stripe and old Skool Ducati logo...looks OK from a few paces.
Here's the bike when I first bought it, not huge changes as you can see. Just wheels, seat unit and rear light/indicators -
