wd40 didnt touch the wheels still very grubby any product to get them gleaming anyone?

 

tried white spirit as well nothing, just road grime and 2 years of chain lube i would imaging the rims not looking to bad now its the alloy spokes and hubs that are still a mess

furniture poish sprayed on the wheels will do the job then Figs?

Karchers HDS 55CI steam cleaner.
Works on mine a treat.

 

Duck oil on the wheels and a cut down 1/2" brush if its really bad or just muc-off if its just a normal clean. Mr sheen works a treat after the bike has been washed and dryed as it also has a degreaser and it smells nice!

 

If its brake dust and road grime, wonder wheels should do the trick.

 

Polish it in the garage.......pieces of eight....Oh, never mind....schoolboy joke...

 

I always was always told 'Polish it in the corner' ......... who's a pretty boy then!!

There is a product out there that is supposed to be pretty good ..... 'Mr' something or other it's called??

 

Deffo wd40 or tesco own brand furniture polish (brown tin) with beeswax.

 

This stuff is quite literally amazing , worth every penny in my eye . No more sore fingers!
