I did feel he knew exactly what he was talking about when I approached him about my dials. If he is able to replace the plastic bezels and lenses on the 748-9** dials then that could be a real bonus for many of us, especially if he has a source for them and maybe he could even upgrade them using glass instead of plastic. I have him lined up to put on some alloy anodised bezels and glass for the lenses for my 998 clocks. Glad to know you were pleased with his work. Fortunately I live quite close to him in the same area so no doubt I can report back as well when I have had a chance to meet and discuss my clocks with him.
It seems that Peter Gaugeman will only tackle speedos and rev counters, so I'm looking for a farenheit temp gauge repair or replacement. I've emailed Lockwood/Superdials and will post here if I get a reply.
