sometimes it's more fun to set up your own meet but if you happen to come 2nd Saturday then I will always look out for anyone who says they are coming. Most we ever got was about 35 peoples but that may have had something to do with the substantial supply of home made Lemon drizzle cake : )

 

You can't go far wrong if you head for around 10 a.m. If many are dead keen on a ride out then it might be earlier but it would get posted first

 

I reckon if you went to Box Hill anytime at the weekend you will find one or more of us there.
I am there most days as it is my second office as per Rob's.

 

Agree on the above, easiest is to follow the Box Hill thread as it covers all the biking haunts around the south east like Bury, Chalet etc. On any weekend there is always a group of us throughout the year who will meet up (even in the depths of winter a few hardy types muck about in floods etc.)

If you pass the initiation ceremony, you're good to call yourself a member.

If I have a long conference call to make which happens a lot in my job, I'll drop to Box in the car if the kids are at home and I want to chill, drink coffee and be heard in peace. PeterT's description of the second office is not wrong.

 

If there is a Peacehaven meet I'd be interested. Have seen the Boxhill threads and heard about the Kent Ducati Club but I don't get much time at the moment so when I get there it'll be time to come home....maybe an early start needed one day as they often seem to ride towards home anyway.....

I'm near Guildford - if you do Boxhill (or just fancy a local ride) gimme a shout!

 

For the Guildford lot, it's pretty easy to ride up the A3 and straight into Wandsworth. DOCGB West London, The Ship Inn, 7pm Second Wednesdays.

Are you venturing out this way any time before August? Just wondering if there's a need to meet to go over maps to finalise routes/agenda before Germany, or if that's something to do whilst waiting for the train?

 

and it's coming up this week on the 14th - route is easy enough, straight down the A3.
