sadly mate the list of things i have for you is getting too long... can you ping me tomorrow when you get a sec?
Beware Item 16. It can be on seriously bastard tighty. I had to grind mine off once. You shouldnt need to on yours tbf. Ducati clutches are very very easy things to work on. Once youve done one, you'll strip n re-install in 30mins easy. If its the 749r one, you'll have to grease the ramps, which is where i may have been less than diligent on my 1st slipper. I put one on my 916 initially. But put it back on fleabay and bought an STM as it gave me trouble. Prob due to negligence and no understanding of these things. I'm better now (marginally). Took me 30mins to put new plates in my sigma on 1299. Its that quick.
ok so quick update and question i decided agaiinst a full strip down and instead cleaned up all the plates before reassembly and will decide what more needs doing after ive given it a good thrashing what is the torque setting for the bolts that squish the springs?
Bolts that squish the springs should not be overtightened - I use a tee handle Allen key and just tweak them once fully home.
LT Snyder has them at 7 Nm. They don’t need much as the spring force will keep them securely tight. Tighten them too much and one of the springs may snap when riding…
