The springs I got from ebay are the right size, its the caps that are not correct, These https://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/6X-DUCATI-...935042?hash=item238cbb3782:g:XrQAAOxyxpxQ7~x2 it does say 749 but they are not as deep as my standard ones?
There are now a few different spring lengths/weights and 2 or 3 different cap depths. Some suppliers have picked up on this, some are still selling the "original" 916/748 era kits. Washers under the caps is a way around it, but as was said, the right caps for the right bikes would be better. Spring weights also cause problems. The "old" springs were heavier, putting these in a 1098 for instance makes the clutch heavier.
