  1. Errrr first ever medal on snow by Jenny Jones... You had your head in the sand?

  2. Jenny did very well. She was third. Have we won anything yet?

  3. They (GB) all talk about doing my best, give it a good go etc.

None of them have they mind-set to say I'm gonna win, thrash the competition.

They have lost before they even get dressed in their noisy clothing.

Steve Redgrave wasn't interested in any other place other than 1st. That's a real champions attitude.

  4. Well you'd think he'd pass that attitude on wouldn't you, given that he's in charge of all the coaches

  5. didn't realize baxter was cleared of doping. so should of been bronze, that would spoil my day.

  6. Hardly doping was it? Didn't he use Vix nasal spray?

  7. madness. guess they need a line in the sand tho. i heard an interview with him the other day he seems quite chilled about it.

  8. How the mighty fall. From quintuple gold medallist to transport manager.

  9. C'mon Woodsy!!

  10. Right then, today's the day. Gold on it's way for sure.

  11. Best was the white Norweigen Rastafarian in the slope style yesterday whose clothes were so huge, he barely managed it down the slope due to the wind resistance. He looked brilliant upside-down with his kecks around his knees, only held in place with braces - and in a nice fetching shade of beige, too.

I thought they'd got over all that bollocks. Grunge was trendy 20 years ago.

Still am I bothered? It all adds to the amusement.

  12. You mean Henrik Harlaut, the Swede.

  13. Swede, Norwegian. Whatever.

I wasn't sure. I nearly said "Scandinavian" but that sounded woolly and I'm happy with risk.

  15. Load of drivel - even the PM couldn't be arsed with it and he'd turn up to the opening of an envelope!

  17. Blimey! Just found out my best mates brother (Bro) is the coach of the bob sleigh team!... Yay Mr. Anderson! Go for it!!

  18. don't forget Lizzy Yarnold tonight at 9 p.m*. - will almost certainly collect a Gold but a slight nail-biter as will be very last to run.

*possibly earlier as rescheduled and showing on BBC1 now
