Impossible to put into practice though. If a manufacturer changes a part they will only inform suppliers who they have supply chain contracts with. Aftermarket parts makers will only ever now post change.
The 2015 899 has ever so slightly bigger frame holes hence the reason the smaller ones not fitting. They are going to supply me the newer style plugs with the new frame bolts.
The cnc frame plugs were all made for the 1199 the 899 has bigger top frame holes than the 1199 as the frame is different i found out after i bought some a few weeks ago i changed the rubber washer for a bigger one and they seem fine at the min
Thats strange as they dont suggest any changes in frames for models etc mine only came out of the crate in december!
