'collector Bikes' Actual Values Acheived - Auction Results

Discussion in 'Lounge' started by Exige, Jan 26, 2018.

  1. It was a cracking bike - that included auction fees - but I think it's nearly 7% import duty + 20% vat + shipping and insurance it would have been £17,000 :upyeah:

  2. Maybe not quite but it'd be very close to that.

  3. Bonham's partner shipper was just over £1,500 with insurance (standard insurance was only $2 per kilo!!!) so no less than that unfortunately with the import tax and vat.

  4. I know where there's another one, trouble is it's £19k then you've got to ship it. Way over it's current value.

  5. That's expensive for shipping. Very expensive.
A mate of mine told me recently he can do a whole container for 800 quid. I've also shifted cars for much less than that.
Good spot on the auction though.
