It was a cracking bike - that included auction fees - but I think it's nearly 7% import duty + 20% vat + shipping and insurance it would have been £17,000
Bonham's partner shipper was just over £1,500 with insurance (standard insurance was only $2 per kilo!!!) so no less than that unfortunately with the import tax and vat.
I know where there's another one, trouble is it's £19k then you've got to ship it. Way over it's current value.
That's expensive for shipping. Very expensive. A mate of mine told me recently he can do a whole container for 800 quid. I've also shifted cars for much less than that. Good spot on the auction though.
