Shame about Smith, but it's a circuit with a fairly high attrition rate. He's shown he has the speed, that's the main thing.
He didn't sound happy and certainly didn't want to talk. Ducati must be happy with 5&6th. With out the crashes would have been more like 10&11th. Good to see VR pushing MM. Those moves on the last lap would have been interesting.
Rossi showed he's still a racer, and Marquez showed he is no respecter of reputation and is the best on the world right now

Qatar is no pointer for the rest of the season, sadly. Looks like it'll be business as usual for the aliens come the european rounds. All we can hope is riders like Smith and Escargot get in among them and shake things up a bit. We'll see.
What I love about mm and vr is the craic they have in park ferme obviously decent amount of respect each way but with lots of smiles unlike the dour ped and Lorenzo . Vr's missus out in the open but still 2nd best to ucchio
Not sure Bradley (School boy) Smith has the balls to compete at the sharp end.. Aleesh / Alais / Alex Esspagaroo has the ability & balls.. He just needs some Brohmide to chill him a bit....
That's harsh, he had the best rookie year of any brit ever, qualified on the front row, and was holding pace with the likes of Marquez, Rossi, Pedrosa...What more do you want?
Boys done well & I'm not having a knock.... I've just seen way too many Moto2 races where the pressure has been on & he's lost the nerve..... The new rules puts it in his favour so its up to him to prove he can challenge for podiums... Not a great start with a DNF but I hope he does well... I'll just not be putting my mortgage on it is all
True nuff, my bad... confused to fcuk with all the changes... Tech 3 motor so basically last years M1... like i said though I hope the lad does well & here's hoping he makes me look a twat (again) by getting podiums all through the season.
What he needs to do is stay in front of Pol, and I don't think that's gonna be easy once Escargot 2 gets on the pace.
