  2. I’m hearing that Hyside Ducati are in the same boat?

  3. I took a drive past Worcester Ducati and Worcs Kawasaki today, and they are still closed. I don’t know what I expected to see, I guess I was just hoping to see them open again.

  4. I went past Worcester Ducati on Friday as well, sad to see it all locked up. I used to love dropping in and having a Quick Look around whenever I was in the area. I wonder where all the stock will surface?

  5. I’m fairly local and have not seen/heard anything.

Will keep eyes and ears open for any news.

  6. hardly conclusive I know but last week I got unsolicited email from them offering discount on servicing, MOT's and certain bikes! Have only used them once for spares and they f*cked that up! Typical main dealer attitude, if you're buying big then you're a "mate" anything else seems to be a bit of a chore for them.

  7. Aren’t Hyside Ducati Chelmsford ?

Dealers only seem to be selling all the Limited Editions for £50 - £60 - £70k perhaps they’re getting greedy ! Be nice to see a Ducati dealer post on Facebook a new young customer buying a Scrambler or Monster rather than a Diavel Bentley that will never see the light of day..

  8. Unless I bought a new bike (which I doubt I ever will), I won't go near them again. I’ve found an Indy (MotoV) and will use them exclusively from now. Glenn there is doing a front head rebuild for me in a few weeks.

I’d written a few more paragraphs about my experience but have deleted it. I went through 6 years of litigation after complaining about similar issues with a van on the internet and ended up in a kangaroo libel trial (which I won), so I’ll leave it there!

  9. Agree 100%, but unlikely.

Why encourage a younger rider into the fold when you can sell an ornament for £60K?

  10. Tbf I’m sure some do. Snells Alton often have younger riders and less expensive bikes like 696 or scramblers on their FB page.

  11. …. agree, that’s why they have a future.

  12. Yes they are and based in Maldon about 20 min drive from Chelmsford.

  13. He’s very good Glen been using him for the past 10 years, he will be doing my 900ss engine, always good to look at what he has in for work went there once and he had 3 900ss in for a bit of fettling, best one was a Matrix first one I’ve seen :upyeah:

Fingerscrossed Hyside are ok as they have a cafe :motorcycleduc:

  14. At least you have got your priorities right, they have a cafe :joy:

  15. In the cafe you can get a regular hotdog for £4.99. Or you can have the Special Edition which has brown sauce instead of red, for £19.99.

  16. They are also pleasant to deal with.

  17. The ‘Auhtorisations' on those termination details look ominous.

  18. Just heard Pidcocks, which includes Ducati Nottingham, have gone in to administration

  19. The yearly returns look ok though, for a business of that size they appear to be solvent and ‘shouldn’t’ have experienced obvious issues based on those figures. But I guess that shows the volatility of present conditions (or accuracy of returns?).
