There were three films I think, one involved having his wife kidnapped I seem to remember, and it spawned a short lived TV series of the same name. He has also played a similar character in The Commuter. According to one review, I read he is, apparently, considered to be an older Action Hero!!! enjoying some success!!

Nothing confusing about this one,just the usual American action shite movie,kills a 100 men in ten minutes,without shortness of breath...5 stars.
I can help clear up the confusion. About every 5 years they bring Liam Neeson out of cryogenic storage, hit him with the defibrillator, stick a Glock in his hand and then film about 6 hours of footage in various European cities. When they have enough in the tin, they just bring him down with a tranquiliser dart, pop him back in the fridge and edit the footage up into 3 equal parts.
