Isn't the point of a show bike to show off what products they have? Maybe you don't like all of the parts fitted, but at least you can see what they look like, good or bad? It may even change your opinion on something that you see fitted compared to in a picture by itself.
Remember how awful he who must not be named's 999 was, with shit bling all over the place and at the time when everyone thought what a good old boy he was nobody would come out with the truth ---- that it was a ponce's ride. Wasn't Casoli Moto though , thought I'd better add .
I agree, there are definitely more subtle colours than gold but as has already been mentioned you want the part to stand out on a show bike. Colour options are easy to demonstrate but you want the additions to stand out on the bike to show the part has been changed. I'd suggest posting on the Swanky/Wanky thread but I don't think that's the point here.
I agree that would look better , but I see your predicament . I would go with gold , (even though its not me) with titanium on standby . Although there are two sides to a bike , a colour on each side maybe if its a static demo. Just to gauge interest.
The Pani will also be ridden as much as possible, but after reading everyone's opinions I think you may be right. All the gold parts have been ordered so I might put it on and then post pics on here for your feedback, if it's too much then I'll go Titanium.
Whilst it is a show bike - you should balance taste with showing off the parts. You don't want to overdo it with gaudiness otherwise people will just think tasteless bling and walk past without looking at the individual bits as they think it looks cheap From memory I think there is a show stand I think for Skidmarx - now I am not saying that this will look anything like those bikes, but they load up the bikes so full of colourful tat that I just walk past as it is an eye sore Tasteful is the answer
That will depend on the distance we travel, she will need to look spanking clean as a show bike
Black and gold may be a bit of a cliché colour scheme, but it's one that works well. So I like the added gold bits, so long as you don't go overboard on them. What it needs, of course, are some Johnnie Walker Black Label stickers.
