Ok everyone..I have great but very limited news regarding David.I have been informed that the local police have been in contact with David, and that he is ok.They did tell me he will be in contact with us in the not too distant future.Now I promise you there is absolutely nothing else more I know,so any pms will not get any more info. A huge sigh of relief,had us very worried!!!!!!!!!!!!
the old bill actually looked for 'a missing person' from a web forum and actually made the effort to follow through and contact him AND relay a message back???? woah stop right there PC overwhelmedbypaperwork.....miracles don't happen often and am a skeptical old goat. If his mobiles numbers are unobtainable and his house empty where did they find him? If they found him could they not have got a contact number from him and passed it to the concerned individual ??? This is stranger than the shooting in France, maybe the bobby who dealt with this should pop over to France Hope the fella is well and all gets sorted out in the end....
Nothing strange about that Police response surely? They work on a strict protocol for prioritising cases like this. Once they found out that some bloke in Blighty with a penchant for posting on bike forums about his sex life was at risk of a slight mix up over some cam belts, they dropped that minor peccadillo in France like a hot Pomme de terre, and got straight onto the case of Nogg's lost weekend It was of course touch and go, but the fact that 15 others were moistening their Y Fronts and slowing down the connection to the Mars Curiosity vehicle about the same matter clinched it Rest easy people and sleep well in your beds tonight
God these forum unwritten rules are difficult.......So we can slag off a dealer without any info or evidence.....thats ok, obviously if some of us know who we are talking about then that rule doesnt apply....even with said evidence....then when there is evidence that someone has done a good job, in this case the Police, we can still slag them off .....
