1200 DVT Continental Trail Attack 2 Versus Michelin Pilot Road 4 Gt

Discussion in 'Multistrada' started by Andrew G, Jul 22, 2017.

  1. Of course, there's a reason tyre manufacturers don't make off-road tyres in 190 and why bikes with proper off-road ability usually have a 19 or 21" front and a 160 or 170 wide rear.
If you want a genuine dual purpose tyre maybe you should have a genuinely dual-purpose bike..?

  2. I do have a dual sport as well. But that can't run from London to Italy without a trailer. The MS has Enduro mode. I take that to mean that it is designed for more than just tarmac.....obviously not mud and ruts, but hardpack trails like the Colle du Sommelier.

  3. I'm thinking of trying the new Road Attack 3s if my next trip is entirely road based. If I think I'll be doing trails in Piedmonte, then I'll go for the TA2.
