  3. Toast, proper butter with sea salt, thin spread of bovril and then cheesey beans.

The one single culinary delight my Mrs has bought to our relationship over the years...oh that and Langley Farm cottage cheese, but you buy that pre made so doesn't count.

  12. If I'm paying £200 I'm holding more than your hand :joy:

You can get fairly tasty escorts for that sort of money, Jesus £200 gets you a decent private 'dance' in a few places on the continent....apparently maybe.. So rumor has it

  15. Like I said, £200 gets a 'decent' time, couple of hours, two of them...walk out like you've been beaten up but so worth it....apparently

  16. It's quite something isn't it that any thread on this forum can go so far off topic so quickly.

  17. Completely agree on the John Lewis stainless steel set, we've had a set for many years, still as new, despite daily use. I prefer the uncoated ss because you can get them spotless again, if anything does burn, you can also use any aggressive scourer of your choice on then if you've been cooking anything particularly stubborn like caramel, for example.

Sainsburys were clearing their own LeCrueset-a-like casseroles a week or so ago for about £30 - at that price (about 1/10 of the real thing) def worth a look, even if they don't last as long.

  18. That’s another one I am not sure about. would like to get some new knives
