I've accumulated stacks of Le Creuset stuff of the years , and to be honest , I hardly ever use it . Having said that plonking down a dish of perfect dauphinoise potatoes never fails to satisfy guests .... and me Oops .... just noticed that it's a saucepan thread .... please disregard this , and go back to whatever you were doing ....
Arrived today. I get far too excited over cookware. these are beautifully made. They feel brilliant. Very happy. I’m off to buy more now
+1 on the toaster still going strong years later, parts are also available. Following your pan buying experience finding myself in a similar situation. I went shopping with a lady I met some time ago, good for advice. I ended up with bedding that had sequins on. They always find a way to wrap around while sleeping, must be laws of physics involved. Not sure if they are designed to exfoliate while sleeping or create some kind of BSDM experience. Recently I bought all matching plates, bowls and cups.. happy days. Not happy with the knives I bought or cutlery though, not the most expensive but also not cheapest either. More research needed.
I'll take a look. I'm currently operating at record standards getting my card blocked. 4 times in 12 hours must be some kind of record surely? Someone at my bank must be sitting there thinking there's absolutely NO WAY this bloke is buying house stuff after years of motorsport related bashing those accounts have taken haha P.s. i'm just about to order a kitchen bin.. so could be reaching the dizzy heights of 5!
Aga do some good stuff. Not really my department as I'm far too manly for kitchen stuff.... But I have noticed, when I've been ordered to dry, the non sticky teflon stuff on Aga pots seems top drawer. They do some really heavy cast iron little frying pan things as well. You wouldn't want hitting with one.... oooft.... Someone may have suggested Aga already but there's five pages of this thread to trawl through.... Amazing.
