  1. a copper wire stretched across the top of your roof will stop green moss growing :upyeah:

but don't do a Rod Hull and fall off

  2. reading this provoked a strange thought I have worn a copper bracelet for years mainly for when I am at work
when not at work I have a nice silver one the wife bought me years ago
now recently I have been getting loads of pain in my wrists probably arthritis I have broken both wrists a few times
now the copper bracelet is just a copper bracelet no magnets or such it was just mainly so I didn't get my good bracelet damaged at work but have not worn it since I lost my job three months ago coincidence ...........must be the cold weather surely ........think I might start wearing it !

  3. I used to wear one years ago
I think I may give it another try and see how my joints hold up

  4. You think that's wierd?? Before the war my Dad was an apprentice carpenter. He served '39 thru '45, N.Africa and Italy mainly. He had suffered Lumbago on and off for some time. Whilst in NA. he was with some African Pioneer troops and they told him to carry a Nutmeg in his pocket all the time. Being a smart guy, Dad poo-poo'd the idea, until after the war when he was working his balls off earning good money in the post war (re)building boom. Lost days with Lumbago cost him money, so he tried the Nutmeg "trick". He's 93 now, and hasn't had an attack since he started to carry the bloody things.
Move forwards....I used to suffer crippling back spasms about 1 or 2 times each year. Used to last 3-4 days each time. Dad told me about the Nutmeg. Being (I hope) a smart guy, I thought he was off his rocker, until one day (in 1998) I had to stand all the way from Sydney to HK on a flight and then miss work whilst laying up in a hotel room, in absolute agony with a spasm. I duly got a nutmeg and have not had another spasm since. I carry a whole nutmeg in my trouser pocket every day.
Voodoo ? Plecebo effect? Witchcraft? Unknown scientific reason?.....I've no idea....but I like the result.

  5. I think western processed food diets are deficient in trace elements that contribute to wellbeing, plus we are poisoning ourselves with rubbish such as fizzy drinks full of artificial this that and the other.
