Here is my Corbin. I asked for an extra 1/2" of padding, given the contour of the saddle feels like I'm about an inch or more higher (more legroom). Actually this is quite comfortable, and it is easier to slide back/forward as the area is relatively flat. Pillion-approved as well.
Resurrected – now you've had this seat for a while – to ask how it's been, and what the gel pads are like. And where did you buy it?
I have a Corbin and love it. Had mine lowered 1 inch from standard which is ideal for me at 5ft 10in. It is firm but extremely comfortable. Many people make the mistake of assuming that a softer seat is more comfortable. In my experience the opposite is true.
