Couple of Rideouts....

Discussion in 'Rideouts & Events' started by 998gsb, Mar 20, 2012.

  1. It's that bloody M6 Gav, I hate it!

  2. Freak and I are aiming to be at the Cat & Fiddle for about 10:30

  3. Best guess would be somewhere around 10.30 to 10.45 we'll be leaving sale 9.30 on the dot - pace will be down to the slowest in the group - no idea until we know who turns up....but the store rideouts aren't normally warp speed as we want everyone to enjoy it and not feel pressured in to riding beyond their capabilities.

  4. Sure you'd cope :0)

  5. Ok cheers.
I'll do my best to be at the Cat and Fiddle road by 10.45.
I take it you'll be going to the Cat and Fiddle pub for the stop there?

  6. Got bike in for MOT at 9-30 if all goes well might get up to the cat to meet you all.

  7. I would have thought so!

  8. Just remember everyone btw - first decent spring day, cat & fiddle = bound to be plod about so take it easy up there - we've never had anyone nicked on a rideout yet (although we did come close once!!) and don't want to start now!!!!!!

  9. I enjoyed the rideout today. Cheers Gav.

  10. That's very kind Phil - thank you - Glad you enjoyed it... hopefully now we are back on track with the organisation of them as a regular event - there'll be a few more attendees over the coming months! - We'll always post the details on here!

  11. Enjoyed the ride out until my visor decideded it didn't want to be connected to my lid anymore, bloody stupid Arai side pod had broke, was quite hard riding one handed holding a visor in place whilst cornering and braking, luckily we were just outside Alsager so just peeled off back home.

    Sorry guys

  12. Good to meet you all, Great day blew off some cobwebs see you at Wirral next week.
    Andy

  13. Pleased when I got up to the Cat as it was thick fog most of the way from Bakewell, anyway managed to put a few more names to faces, although I didn't join you all for the ride out I had a good run back myself calling at CMC at Chesterfield and then on to Matlock Bath returning back to Bakewell around by Cromford and up Via Gellia.

  15. You'd be very welcome to come along spionkop - and anyone else for that matter - we're doing a rideout next weekend to Wirral Easter Egg Run if anyone fancies it, and then the main april event will be annual pilgrimage to Bristol for the Autofest.... all the details are on our store blog, and also posted on DOCGB Forum, FB and twitter.
