The latest Multi has an aluminium looking section between the indicator and bar end, but they are still just plastic. The plastic ones I have for sale a big improvement (although not as good as bark buster I admit), I snapped 2 sets of indicators whilst filtering in close traffic. Those 4WD mirrors are just the wrong height. The new ones survied unscathed in London traffic for 18 months.
:confuse: Still sounds rather like "O-E" to me Christopher, filtering at speed, is that REALLY filtering.....I think NOT :Hilarious: :Nailbiting:
I'm not passing ( ) comment on what filtering "at speed" means or whether it is good or bad, but what I do know is that it doesn't take much to knacker the handguard/indicator unit (two parts joined by pretty small self tapping screws into not very robust lugs) - I've managed to separate the two parts while almost stationary
I'm just winding Tony up... That said when riding in London traffic nearly everyday you do occasionally catch an indicator with a 4WD or Van mirror. The originals are really flimsy (I replaced them on both sides and cracked one of these). When I fitted the larger Ducati Performance ones I had no issues, they stand up well to the odd knock (even if they are a little larger than the originals)
:Bag: I've witnessed first hand some of T4Me's "filtering" and I can tell you, it ain't pretty......:Jawdrop:
see the Ducati Enduro even to That bike they have fiten a plastic hand guards. i am not doing any off road with my DVT1200s but this is my 3rd set of the hand guards. they just brake even if you touch to a cars miror!!!! here you have a ducati thinking of enduro i said when i see the enduro bike from Ducati .
Someone in Ducati's R&D final stage proofing ( or whatever they call it) drinks martinis instead of focusing on the real use of handguards. Have a beer like austrian KTM and see the real use of handguards. They aren't for looks only!
