@Ducbird isn't in the south of France. Why are you cycling there?

 

I lied and forgot! When I checked my route (I planned it out some months ago) I realised that the plan was to head South. Most of that would take me through France but I end up in Spain. I think that the South of France wasn't far enough and I didn't want to end up in the sea!

When I get riding again, I will do that route on a motorbike. I will complete it in a few weeks and so I will need to go further into Spain. I might turn West and do a bit of Portugal and then back on the West side of Spain and France.

Just remembered: there is a bit of Laurie Lee going on and I need to get to where he did in Spain - right down to the South. Then Gibraltar and head home. It will be a mega bike trip when I can do it!

 

Spain is very nice and so is Portugal but they are all south of you. @Ducbird is in Hereford (north) you need to turn around!

 

I'm planning a similar run down through France, stopping off in Bergerac at the outlaws then on to Zaragoza
A bit of Spain worth exploring.

 

I've been to Spain twice on a bike and really enjoyed it. My hope is to do another.

 

Are you past the corner shop yet?
