I had no choice but to go straight to the TT...but then I was a passenger in the Sidecars and they don't have them at the Manx. I don't think Danny will hit Josh's 127mph laps in his first year but I reckon he will break 119 in his first year. That is unless he shits his pants going down Bray Hill and gets off at QB and walks.
Think he'll need to get an ACU mountain course license which from memory means he needs to have done some road events??
Needs a TT licence but seems a formality in the rules I read. Thought international licence, hence the manx to qualify, was needed but then he'll have one of those anyway! But says only national for UK rider
The TT is a National Licence Event, you don't need to have done roads before to be able to enter. Danny will have an FIM International Licence which more then qualifies him and will have the required meetings already. I had my National for the TT but upgraded it to an FIM International One Event. Josh Brookes did do the NW200 before the TT but only because TAS is a NI Based outfit and it is their home event.
