My Bevel Rubber order was for about $aus 1000$. And the import duty was around £140, delivery is around 14 days from order which is pretty good.
Interesting stuff. I’m having a go at repair 1st as Mdina are out of stock of the two I need. Does anyone have any tips on removing the outer case? I may be being too gentle but nothing moves.
You will note that it looks like the coloured part is held on to the base by two tabs, but they are glued so get a small pocket knife and carefully crack the glue open all the way around. I only had one really bad one that required extra coaxing. When attaching the LEDs, I cut back the wire so that there was enough to wrap around the cleaned, copper prongs and then added some solder. LEDs are unidirectional current-wise. I took the time to work out which way was "on" but if you screw up, no biggie as there is room under the cluster to cross the bulb's wires over. The covers needed re-glueing in my case.
