  1. Some say that many riders use the Daytona inner boot under the sponsors outer boot

  2. I have a pair of Daytona Roadstar GTX and a pair of Sidi B2 Gore Tex. The Sidi's have more feel on the bike for braking and gear changing but not too comfortable walking around off the bike. In contrast, the Daytona's are "all day" comfortable but with less feel. Both boots are 100% waterproof but, touch wood, neither have been crash tested!

  3. That's £829 for Std Evo Security, the GP ones are more! Nice video that explains all.

  4. I've had a pair and can't see what the difference is to the alpinestar supertech r's apart from cost. Both take forever to put on when your getting ready. But both fit and feel great. And both are a dual boot. Spilt an outer boot on the Daytona's and to replace the outer boot was almost as much as a pair of new supertech r's. Snapped a lace on the supertech and they replaced foc.
To justify the amount Daytona's are compared to the supertech I just can't.

  5. I've a pair of Roadstar GTX's too - great practical and safe boots, although definitely not the sexiest looking boots I've ever owned. But I've got to the stage in my life where I've come to realise that no motorcycle boots are going to improve my pulling power :disrelieved:
