My R pulled 107 at Oulton with no baffles. Had to throw some in to be allowed on track. I've got a couple of sets, the standards and some heavily drilled ones. The drilled ones got me down to 104.
Sounds like pot luck to me then. My 1098R has 70mm full system (no baffles) and I've twice passed the 102db test at Croft. I thought I'd have to pop the baffles in I must say but they just gave me a thumbs up and waved me on. Result, thought I.... A couple of 1199 pani's failed that day, mind you.
Full system too, so pot luck as you say. The day's ambient barometrics may make more difference than we realise. (Or maybe its time to repack my cans).
