I think I should go and look at a Corse. Bike colours always looks different in the flesh. Mind you I do like that the 2013 Corse has the natural aluminium of the tank showing through. Which the 2012 doesn't, right guys? Shame that :tongue:
But they've clearly forgotten to balance the colour way with a red stripe at the bottom You're going to look at your bike now and it's going to bug the hell out of you, I tell ye! :biggrin: Agh, the grey one is starting to annoy me too. And they've changed the shape of the tank. Bah. I want a white one again.
If you really want a white one, get your money, walk away and hunt for one. There's quite a few about now.
Don't understand the red frame on the 2013,surely the grey one off the white 848 would look the business We're messing with your head now redsail and if u are anything like me u would of tossed and turned at night thinking what to do for the best ahh the hell with it,get a panigalle and get it resprayed 2012 colours,there done.thread closed :biggrin:
This is definitetly an option matt, and I think I'd be checking out the 1198S, full ohlins, DTC etc. in white. There was a nice one with extra trinkets at Ducati Coventry, but seems to have gone. They have a black one though. Yes, I'm all over the shop!
As you're having trouble making your mind up just give me your money and I'll spend it for you. And I'll ride it for you saving you the trouble of doing that too.
I would take it the 2013 corse SE is gonna be a rare one with them stopping the 848 production. I've gotta agree the 2012 colours are nice but the black sides look shite in my opinion but the aluminium tank and red frame makes the 2013, grey frame looks cheap on any bike
JHP had a lovely 2008 848 for sale on Saturday. It had all the right bits added, slash cut Termis, ASV levers and some nice Rizoma rearsets. FSH at JHP 10k miles and only £6250. I doubt it will stay for sale for long. Had i not just bought my Multi could have been tempted.
