So new 899 will be a 955? I hope so; and hopefully it will have some bottom end power so it doesn't need to be thrashed like an in line 4... Bit like the 916 used to be; before manufacturers seemed to start chasing BHP and forgetting about torque...
There is a new model, i put money on it !! There is a shiny new 899 in red over here in Dublin afaik...last one i think.
So, I've been looking through ducati's website for accessories specifically exhausts and I've noticed that they have 0 exhaust for the 1199 and 899. Preparation for the removal of the 899? I'm wanting the akras by Ducati for my 899..
I was looking at the 1299 yesterday, I do love the new back but like the little cut outs behind the wing mirrors on the 899 and love the front. Even the demo was sold
I've just bought the last red 899 Laguna have. They have one white left and apparently that is now all for the rest of the year.
I kid you not.... Ducati are going to release a 4 cylinder bike !!! It will race in WSBK in 2017 !! This isnt a wind up & if it happens....I will be dumbfounded ! :Bookworm:
I can live with a current model one then, not bothered about auto-blipper, or a slipper clutch, and don't want it to have more power.
Pretty much how I feel. I actually prefer the looks of the 1199 over the 12 anyways. Not that it's honestly that noticeable in my opinion.
That is my feeling,but i cant understand why the big song and dance about a new model when its only a facelift,makes me think maybe its total revision,1000cc mid sports bike sounds kind of ridiculous.Where will it all end,v4 anyone.
I took the demo out for a spin turned all the electrics off and it was still boring compared to my 1199
