I suspect the reason there is no 1299/1199/899 SF is because it would need a complete new frame and thus all the attachment stuff to go with it. For the few SFs they sell, i doubt it makes much economic sense.

It will be Euro 4 compliant which will undoubtedly sap a little power. I think the same bhp figure but more mid range will be spot on too.
Well they will just run 955's surely, I can't imagine the difference will be so much that they can't allow a small amount of tuning for existing 899's and run them side by side like they did with the 848 and 899
Sort of defeats the objective of a single bike series,a fair few new bikes and riders this season,seems unfair on them,then again I am not sure how long the 899 series has left to run.
