Saturday started off damp. One of the D16s went down on the first lap of the first session - new, cold road tyres on the notoriously slippery section coming out of Imola. Another couple went down during the day - but not mine thankfully. The rest of Saturday was dry, but Sunday was wet till the very end of the day. The track was good - not as good as the only others I've done on the D16 - Portimao and Mugello - but good nevertheless The best thing about the weekend though was the company - always the way with Ducatisti. I met some fantastic folk from France, Spain, Germany and the UK. It was brill
Oh dear, binning a bike is one thing, binning a desmo is a sure fire way to make you cry like a baby. were they bent up badly? also, how did the bikes end up?
Minor/cosmetic damage - all were patched-up and out on the track again shortly after. You can see one of them behind mine here - it has the nose cone held together with black gaffa tape.
Thought the duct tape was standard great pics... Would love to hear them all ripping round! Or even better a D16RR cup!
desmo orgy ! must have been quit a concerto.. there were 2 at Zolder Forza Rossa days and 1 went down .... not to bad but there is no such thing as light damage on a desmo...
