Do you really like the rattle?

  1. Love the rattle. It was one thing I didn't like about racing in DD, no dry clutches...

  2. Thats where you're wrong Tony, Neil Appleby ran a dry clutch mod on his 620 last year.......

  3. Same as that.

  4. Well I cant keep up with what all the newbies are up to!

  5. i ride a wet clutch s2r 800 most days which with open arrows sounds fantastic.
but the rattle from the 998s never ceases to put a smle on my face and i like the fact that i can hear other Ducatis coming a mile off

as an ex noise boy, the distinctive sounds they make is one of the many reasons i like Ducatis so much

  6. I guess its tie a tambourine to mine then sniff

  7. The sound and and the clutch rattle are the big reasons I went for a duc instead of any other bike :)
Just love it, allthough I have to get a half-cover. Run it all open now.

  8. They replied that their kit is a thick plain plate with no outer tangs to go in first followed by a dished plate and then a plate which is plain steel on one side (facing the dished plate) with friction material on the other.

Damo, have you got your parts yet and, if fitted, what is the result? Is selection of neutral adversely affected or not?
    Thanks

  9. Best way is too have one bike with a dry clutch, and one wet. Sorted.
