I started this thread to ask for peoples thoughts on my dilemma, and I thank those that responded with their thoughts which have been very useful in helping me to decide what to do. I have not wanted to name and shame anybody particularly as I needed to speak to the people involved, and as I said, I do still want the bike at the center of all this. I have spoken with the dealer today and, as you have suggested, pointed out the discrepancies I have discovered. They have insisted it was all a genuine mistake, caused by a breakdown in communication within the dealership. We are re-negotiating the price. I appreciate your patience........
People people people, keep some sense of proportionality. Think of the children. How they suffered for us. If this is the story we get, I bet they suffered-they probably did not even get End Blyton, the famous five or swallows and amazons...... For bedtime....
