Thank you everyone. Puts my mind at rest. it does spin up faster when warm as you have all suggested.. Also i suspect the issues i had on sunday were user error with me blipping the throttle on start up causing it some upset. since then, press the button, leave the throttle and it has started every time! Optimate cable now received and the battery maintainer all set up. so a week into ownership and im starting to get the hang of her... Thanks again all. look forward to meeting some of you sometime.. anyone local to Hampshire / New Forest?
