I would say it’s a faulty door switch (magnetic) but then that wouldn’t explain when one side works, if it was the switch they would either both be on or both off? Internal wiring fault, it’s a write off, buy a torch.
@chrisw I took LEDs out and connected them to power. Bridging one gets the others working. Thank you!! I will try and solder it to bridge in next couple of days and will report back. Thanks again.
Pick up one of those automatic on led lights and stick not to the top, anyway if it’s dark when you are opening the fridge, that’s a sign to stop the midnight snacking!(tbh I’m wondering why mine hasn’t burnt out yet)
So a potential spot of built in obsolescence in a component the OEM says you can’t change yourself….realise AEG isn’t the same company it was years ago before it was bought out by Electrolux, but if that’s the case then that’s a bit of a Scheißhaus trick….
