Second left hairpin did me...was following a guy who was doing 1'43's the day before and keeping up and then...tried to just edge a bit of inside the I had a new rear proper pirelli slick and a front worn pirelli trackday slick... Did exactly the same the next day with new front and it slid and gripped. I came in lol
This isn't ideal, I asked if we now had 4 1/2 garages free: Unfortunately no. As a 15+ group, you are entitled to 2 garages free of charge. You already have a third which someone within the group has paid for so therefore if you wish to have a 4th, you would need to pay £36 for this reservation. ******** So I think we are full.
I had a little moan: In addition to the three garages you already have, we can reserve one more for you free of charge. This would give you 4 garages in total, including the garage that was paid for. Kind Regards Sophie Johnston
WTF. When I spoke to them they said a garage for every 5 members...regardless of total number, so no upper limit. I think they need to honour that now, otherwise we would've split the group to DUC2 before 15, and ended up with more garages for free. Shall I give them a call back?
Yep just updated the above post to mention that. Will report back shortly. Update: Called them and they said they couldn't answer for the person that told me that . The garage policy is mentioned on their website (which is exactly why I called to ask if we should split the groups). Anyway, they said the DUC group booking situation was resolved with yourself Cream earlier. 4 garages for the 23 already booked. I asked what's best going forward for people still wanting to book? They can still book on the DUC group and get the 10% discount. However, garage numbers won't be increased. So it's up to you Cream if you want to end the booking for DUC. If there's at least 5 more booking, it's probably better to start a new booking? Note: if they know the groups are linked (i.e. calling it DUC2), they won't offer more free garages as they'll know the groups are linked.
