No, Never been on a bike trackday. Chiz suggested we do the Hasslam thing, it's not a trackday. Ride their Honda CBR600 for about 30/45mins on track, a little bit of instruction, follow them so you are on the race line. We sat behind the instructor the whole time (who did hold us back more than needed) but perhaps no bad thing. I (personally) didn't learn much from it... I think they do more advanced /focused training, which might be better after having a bit of seat time. I'd compare (that level) for me, a bit more like an experience day (prob ride faster on road sometimes). For me it was a fun day out and worth the money. The R6 I am riding, I've not used much either so I will be taking it easy to start with at least. I know it needs money spending (unknown suspension) but it's not worth it, unless I use and abuse it until it goes bang or down the road. See how it goes.
I think it's 5 at the moment? It's Chizels 30th Birthday. I'm paying this time for us (5) only!. I said I would, so it's done! We don't see you guys often and you pay for the BBQ etc.. Because there is only one of me, and two Aussie wannabes I'm imposing a 1 drink limit. Chizel is far more generous. I'll be on water so Chizel can't take advantage of my sensible nature, unlike last time.

I am bringing my bike transporter which is kitted out with 240v hook-up, plugs, battery chargers, leads etc. and I’m collecting tyre warmers on my way up so there should be enough stuff to go around!
Don't worry abt the money. I felt like that last time. You guys wouldn't take anything off me at the BBQ's.. a f up on track will cost more and that's quite likely with me. It's not if, but when.. I have a blue socket and various adaptors for most tracks. As CR said I think donny has standard plugs too. As for it's only a trackday. Will have to see.. I hope I feel like that.
