Well... A calm sea never made a fine sailor! Although if I have to buy some wets that will be £500 on tyres in 10 days!
Bike's as ready as it'll ever be , got rid of the brake judder I'd rather not be wet but so be it , que sera , sera !
I think we'll have to leave the tyre warmers on while we're on track....looking a little chilly & we could have a little rain too!!! Never mind....I'm sure we'll still have fun!! First time out for me this year, so I'll be taking it easy....until the old hairpin....that should do it!!!
so what measures' do youl take for these wet track days? waterproof suits or jackets? any decent waterproofing spray or what not? never bothered with waterproofing on my rd gear although maybe I should as it may last better with a bit of dubin or something... any call for a rear light if proper miserable? although it think if if its bad enough to need a rear light I will be watching you guys from the bar....
As above, wet day no play. Still heading up just in case. I just wanted to test this (shitty) R6 to see if it is even worth considering throwing more money at it. If (due to my lack of ability) I have to plod round, when I could ride quicker on the road in the dry, will not be ideal for me. Shame if so, but could be worse.
Currently cold but dry till mid afternoon....... It won't be a day for breaking personal bests so just get yer thermals on and let the tyres warm up.
