If you find the nut off the top of a salt grinder then it is mine - dropped on the kitchen floor and it has completely disappeared - might have to remove the oven ps my wife has helpfully pointed out that it didn't even need filling up.........
As it seeems this forum is the link between realities, would you like me to contact NeilH and ask him for his spare salt grinder screw?
It was kinda balanced in the crease of the water bottle and whatever dark thing is next to it, I could touch it with my finger tip but couldnt grab it so used a long thin screwdriver to flick it into its new hiding place, once I accidentally knocked it out whilst feeling blindly with finger tips, it got a kiss followed by a good telling off! Dont think it will do that again in a hurry
Magnetic screwdrivers are mighty handy, Halfords do a nice set. A telescopic magnetic probe can be bought for a couple of quid too. Some have lights on the end.
If you wrap an electrical wire around the shaft of a screw driver repeatedly then connect one end to a 12v battery positive and the other end MOMENTARILY to the negative terminal, hey presto, you have a magnetic screw driver. (After removing the wire)
Don’t think he is talking about another lesson mate. I also read forums while doing that. OT: I bought me one of these, it has a magnetic hook: Aliexpress 5 meter Endoscope
