Indeed but 'bitsa' value is 'bitsa' value, just the way it is, no surprise @JoeC has got his money out on the bits, often the only way .... my 996 is the same ... worth way more in bits .....
Yeah harsh but true (as often is). We all love to build or own these 'special' bikes, but when we come to sell them they are almost always worth less than the sum of their parts!
Does anyone remember Graham/Sharpy G's one - was a big thread on the DSC site, listing all his mods? Don't think he ever rode it though.
Graham does actually use his despite what people think and the parts he has fitted are nearly all factory or rare parts sourced by a couple of respected dealerships. His bike is immaculate.
