They were the carbon heel guards that came with the bike but I have since changed them back to the GM ones as it was a bit of a bodge.....
They have looked after me very well, ensuring I will buy bikes from them in the future. Win win for us both.
I tried to change my rear sprocket yesterday for one that is 46teeth, so +2, turns out that even though there was a reasonable amount of adjustment the new sprocket simply wouldn't go with the standard length chain. So just for reference for others, my chain has done 2k and actually it's pretty wrecked, it's really rusty even though I clean it regularly with chain cleaner and it stays well lubed. The only possible issue is that I use 'Wurth Dry Chain Lube' which isn't very thick, so while it works on the inners of the chain, I think really I needed to use a thicker wax on the outers.
How did you guess? Well, I think anyway. It's being diagnosed Thursday. Any info on the error appreciated! I posted about it on another thread but didn't get any replies!
I have washed it recently, but was also caught in a biblical downpour last week. I'm sure I got the bbs! Error, not can line thinking about it. Either way, I hope it gets a good going over and fixed. Character is great, but things you can sort yourself - not shitty plugs and electrics that can't stand a little outdoors! How hard can it be to avoid it in the first place? We know why it's a light bike anyway.
BBS unit under seat probably moisture. My CAN LINE error came after two days of heavy rain, bike sat over weekend then Monday got the CAN LINE error. On the plus side the dealer should be checking every connector and regreasing it for you. Mine hasn't reappeared. Sent from my LG-D855 using Tapatalk
Fitted some Evotech short levers. Very nice, however, I have a cheap Chinese one from my RC8R here and it's very difficult to spot any quality difference at all and it's half of a pair that was £15 delivered!
