  5. There is a helpful video on you tube mate. Looks simple enough.

  6. My bike hasnt turned a wheel in weeks. Weather in Scotland is terrible!!

  7. Finally got out of WET mode :)

  8. Started it up on the drive..........its been sat in the garage for nigh on 5 months but still started first time.

  9. I had mine out the other day first time since about October

First time riding with 1299 exhaust and deleted servo, ohlins damper, sbs brake pads and new supercorsas so just took it steady

Roads were terrible with salt - it was like dust all over the road. Took longer to wash it than it was riding it...

  10. Fitted the panigale spacers throttle spacer tonight. I was a bit sceptical with the difference this could make as I just ride around the throttle playwithout mug issue and only find it a problem blipping on downshifts. Plus I didn't really want to tamper with the throttle as I assumed the slack was engineered in for a reason.

Straight forward to fit anyway ( I removed the bar end for more room and also applied a dab of white grease on the surfaces but otherwise the instructions are very good).

There's zero slack in the throttle now - just trying it with the bike off in the garage it does feel different - i read some people say it feels a bit stiffer and I can see what they mean though I think it's just imaginary.

Looking forward to trying it out anyway as most people rave about these.

  12. image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpeg Few hours in the garage today, fitted sprint filter, easy job on the 899, fucking pain in the arse on the 1299 guessing because of bigger throttle bodies and who ever designed the breather pipes needs a slap, few bits of carbon and titanium thown in.Also gave the wheels a coat of gtechniq wheel armour.

  13. @simmytt what was the purpose of fitting the filter, won't the bike want mapping now?

Also how you finding the seat ?

  14. I removed the filter from my 899 prior to selling it,my bike has the Akras and upmap installed,so i am sure it will be fine.I had the seat on my 899 and it was great improvement over the standard ,its the same seat that a lot of the tri options guys use so i guess they must good on the slippage front and i find it all day comfortable, very well made with a carbon base and a custom cover service.

  15. JHP Ducati Coventry.

  16. Your bike is looking mint!Do you find the 60mm mirrors big enough to allow enough vision?

  17. Thanks.

When riding in a straight, upright position i.e. sat on a straight rode I find them easier to glance and see behind me, that's due to the position more than the size as I no longer need to move my body to see behind my arm. The only issue I have is if leant over, for example coming of a roundabout I just see either sky or road. No big issue as it makes you shoulder check. I would look to find 60mm with convex glass (mine are flat) as I think this would help give a wider viewing angle but with the benefit of the better position.
