  5. You know the rules @El Toro, no photo's means it didn't happen!

Edit to add: Bollock's, I was beaten to it... I still don't believe you though :p

  6. You obviously haven't had the pleasure of meeting terry yet... The seat height on that is far too high for him to cock a leg over!

  7. Yes, the M50 caliper on the 1299 is a funny old beast. It has a different piston size to the M4’s, so the M/C is different. M50s use a 16mm piston radial Master Cylinder,
M4's have a 19mm radial MC. You’ll get totally the wrong feel with the 899 M/C.

NEVER EVER trust an eBay add that says something is for 899/1199/959/1299, because most sellers just don’t check.

  8. Where did you sent your suspension Ron? I’m going to get the nix cartridge kit and ttx shock from mot over the winter

  9. My feeling too but its Motorapido!!! How much would you want for the MC, I've been looking at RCS17's

  10. As I said, I’d swap for your 899 one as a track spare for my 959...

  11. I'd be cool with that, my bike came with M50's and no originals. I'm guessing the MC was never changed.
Brakes never felt off to me because i've nothing to compare to.
Waiting for other brake components to come in so won't be swapping out till end of Jan poss Feb.

  12. Look under the M/C there is a code there (from memory). Worth checking if it has already been changed before needlessly changing it.

  13. +18 5E18 Is what I can find laser etched
In the casting on top is 15, underside 17 (as in picture) Think this might be what tooling was used during manufacture

  14. I’m not with the bike for a couple of days. I’ll check both of mine when I get back, unless anyone else can help out....

  15. Just realised the eBay post was for a clutch cylinder not a brake cylinder. The Brake cylinder in this one. 899/959 specific

  18. The question.....where I was going with this..
I have M50's on my 899 running standard lines (one with slight damage). I bought after market HEL lines for 899 when they were on offer. Will they straight swap like for like because the callipers are not standard. Are are the fittings located in the same position.
