  3. Just ordered new chain and gearing. Changed to 15 tooth sprocket on the front and 41 on the rear.
Really interested to see what difference it makes.

Gone for a D.I.D gold ZVM-X chain. Happy days.

  6. Nice! I was looking at fitting one of these, what improvements did you notice on the bike?

  7. Just fitted the K tech rear shock to my 899 to. Needs a tweak or two, but the back end feels soooo much better, more planted less skittish over the bumps. Better ride to ;)
Got the fork kit waiting in the workshop now :)

  8. Massive improvement all round. Straight out the box the Sag was spot on. Compression and rebound are far more composed. Haven't even turned a thing but will be giving it a proper test and probably making some small adjustments. Not sure about bypass valve as this changes damping and rebound at the same time... will do some more research. Was initially worried about spring rate after given them my dry weight of 67kgs and an 80 spring! Also the old Sash sock measures 315mm centre eye to eye and the K Tech came to me at 310mm. Have since phoned them to confirm that's correct. Very happy right now but it does highlight the front needed some work...

  16. Great reviews guys, anyone tried both the ohlins and the ktech?? Any comparisons between the 2?

  17. I doubt there’s much between the two for the average person anyway

Ktech is a bit cheaper and made in the UK.

  18. Definitely be interested in your set-up ... sounds like your using same rear shock. What's your rear spring rate values? Weight etc... and what cartridge kit are you using on the front? Cheers.

  19. I had full ohlins on my 899 road bike and full k tech on my 899 track bike, both great and I could not tell the difference between the two, you will get more for your ohlins if you sell on.
