  1. Cheers again m8.

  2. Its not water in oil its condestion.. which I guess is water but nothing to worry about

  3. Back to square 1 now as same problem is back. Thought it was a earthing problem but sorted that and she worked for a short while and now it's running the same as it did so think something else is up as I imagine its rare for these to go twice.

  4. I had a brand new relay last two soaking wet rides and it packed in!
New one cured it (Fixed and thanks to someone on this forum :) Check the plug it fits into, they get crapped up too.

  5. I did spray it with wd40, May not have been the best thing but gonna clean both ends up. I haven't been out in the wet so I dunno what's going on!

  6. I was advised to try the earth to the ecu next .....may be worth looking at? good luck

  7. I've already cleaned it up! It did sort it for a short while so it was worth it cheers.

  8. Sorry to repeat myself, but is worth disconnecting the connector from a coil stick when the bike is running rough, one at a time. If one has no, or very little, effect on the poor idle there's your problem and it's free to try. Did this on my 916 Monster which had intermittent rough running/idling fault some time back (usually when engine hot). Good luck.

  9. She is going in the garage to get sorted on Tuesday. Can't solve it myself. Thanks again to all and I'll post up what the problem is when it's sorted.

  10. condensation is an issue on my 900SL, and of course that's oil cooled, so it's not the head gasket or water leak. It just needs a good run to get the condensation out, leave the oil filler plug off for a day as it cools and some may evaporate. Had the same misfire on my 999S and it was water in the front plug hole, even a 50 mile run up the motorway in the dry wasn't enough to dry it out. Should be easy to tell which cyl is playing up, the header will be cooler than the other one. Spit on your finger and touch it quickly, the sizzle will tell all. And that way if your quick you don't burn your finger. Or use an infrared thermometer, very handy for diagnostics
