  1. Try going back and say 'I'm thinking of trading in my 999R' ;) LOL

  2. Would it have a V5? as the bike is unregistered?

@Exige ...... after I told the guy that I have a collection of 5 Duc's and I always carry out a Frame Number check, via Ducati, PRIOR to making offers or purchase

    This was his response:

"Ive given you enough info for you to know the value of the bike. Im not giving out frame info until i know you are a serious buyer. If you want to buy it please make an offer.. the bike is real and in mint condition as you can see."

  3. Yep, similar to the response he gave me - he can see my profile picture on fb with 3 999's in the house too :)
And yes, unregistered - no log book of course :D

  4. Same here, My base model 749 (in go faster citrus) is a mono and always has been from new, but it isnt on the log book. Ive no bother about it as I dont want to get rid of the bike but it would have been helpful because if I ever needed get rid I'm told the mono is a little bit more desirable even at base model

  6. It's a bit like putting your house for sale and saying "I'm not giving you the number or showing you inside until you make me an offer" :Banghead:

  7. Offer him 20k and see if he hands over numbers.

What happens if you go to look at it in person? Do you get picked up in a transit, blindfolded and cable tie your hands together?

    Two words come to mind....

    Twat...

Sorry, I only needed one after all.:flushed:

  9. i bet the bike is good. he just had enough with people draining his life away asking questions and have no intention of buying. i have had plenty of experience. last one today. fuck me. after talking to the cunt i would never want to sell anything else in my life! why come and view the car when you only have 50% of the asking price available?
pity i don't want 999r race rep. otherwise it would be easy to prove if it is good or not. so if anyone who posting on this thread is actually serious about buying that bike - agree the price, give him 100£ deposit and i am sure he will give you all the info. -

  10. I was going to buy it last year and it had sold, but he isn't getting me to travel hundreds of miles without allowing me to check the numbers, simple. And not even answer simple questions. You must be the perfect buyer and perfect seller - well done for that, it's a true gift you have there :D

  13. Your the man, so funny, but it associates my business name with a crooked trader, so thanks again. You are not that stupid ;)
I like a laugh and a wind up but leave my business and it's reputation alone thank you :Finger:

  14. One tongue in cheek comment and it's trying to associate

Like a celeb going to court to contest a story in the Sun, you have given more airtime to it and kept it alive :Banghead:

  15. Initially it may have been banter, without you realising you were in fact associating my business with a scammer. Now someone else has joined in I think it is becoming a little more malicious. Why you should both try and associate my business on an open forum with a scammer is beyond me. I would kindly ask you both to stop. I would never do such a thing to another business and cannot understand your motive.

  16. This thread delivers.

  17. You never seem to have a prob doing your best trying to tarnish others reputations , man up , as they say , if you can't take it then don't give it

  18. Not true - yes I have a laugh but would never attempt to associate someone's livelihood with a scammer, not even in jest. You don't have much room to talk tbf Mr TT :)

  19. This is true @Exige I made a joke about your cables on the lithium battery thread. You called me a prick and sent a pm, citing damage to your business reputation and asking me to delete the post.

Nobody in their right mind takes any mention of you name or business in any of these posts seriously. You are the one that keeps on mentioning it. No harm will be done to your business, lighten up.

If you want to jump on everyone's threads and take the piss, grow a skin when you get it back at you dude.
