Nice part of the world, I lived in Mijas for a number of years in the late eighties, the roads were appalling then. We had a little Honda trials bike, perfect for the crap roads and the campo dirt roads. If I ever go back I think a KTM would do me, best of both worlds. I have a 1200s multistrada, great on the main roads, I'm not sure it's suitable for some of the back roads, I guess it depends on the type of riding you plan on doing, whatever you decide, have fun.

I love the Ronda, Caminito Del Rey roads... Out to Cadiz via Ronda , Grazalema, EL Bosque and El Banco is great.... Heaven!
There's some great rides for sure, the road to Ronda is lovely. Have a look behind the mountain in Mijas, Coin, Monda, Alhaurin, some real hidden gems. Enjoy.
