I love it. I love to craft things in my man-cave. I wish when I was a young'un I made a career choice to pursue a creative engineering type vocation. sadly I never did and now just tend to craft things to solve problems I create haha. well done and well presented. definately one of my fave posts on here naturally you have ploughed an incredible amount of time and thought into your project - I hope someday you reep the rewards.
really appreciate the kind words guys. means alot for enthusiasts of the by the brand seeing something in the project. my hope is to post about a few owners clubs across the pond. you never know who is watching! im also a complete build thread nut! so I'm happily looking through the project threads. should have done this a long time ago!
Excellent work, great description of your creative process and the hints towards Panigale on the exterior with trellis framed underwear are subtle but definite. if you want critical, lose the coke cans!
Ambitious stuff, I hope it makes it into the flesh. here's an earlier Spartan on a similar theme - well, 4 wheels with a Ducati engine anyway.
That looks very very nice indeed, great piece of work and here's hoping you get the grade it deserves! If it were a production model I'd certainly be looking at it with envious eyes!
Wonderful. Im a hobbyist model maker, but to go from sketch to competed model is another thing entirely. Fantastic, and thank you for sharing this with us on the forum.
As far as the engine goes, McLaren fused 2 BMW M3 engines together for the McLaren F1. They took 2 of these.......... View attachment 19483 and made one of these............ View attachment 19484 How about fusing 3 Panigale engines together, add a little sprinkle of supercharging to get a V6 desmo with about 800 BHP. They could probably manage that before lunch !
That is fantastic. The final result is truly spectacular, but the journey to get there is equally fantastic. Well done.
Put me down for one, obviously I'd need it on 0% but I'd be happy to beta test the first production model
Brilliant, I like the way you thank your mentor at university, he must be over the moon to have such a naturally talented student as you are. Good luck with your future. Steve
Interesting project, well done. There is a real sense of development through the project and the finished product really shines through.
Never mind all that, where did you get the foam blocks from? I need some. (Incredible project by the way. Can you do a van next, only my one's getting a bit tired).
interesting read and goods pictures, thanks, never been interested in cars, but all the same very interesting and nice, kev
AWESOME! Well done but i think ive picked up a design fault... "Where do you put the TAX DISC holder?" lmfao....
