Ducati Glasgow..

  1. I would phone them and sort it over the phone. By the time you're up there they know you're there to buy, your hand is weaker. If it's an ex demo it'll still look like a brand new bike, I'd be surprised if you were disappointed when you saw it.

Have you ever considered that there's a very good chance that someone from Ducati Glasgow also reads this forum!!!!!!!!!

  2. Yep Sam, considered that. Im not actually desperate so if someone from DG reads this and wants to hardball me, no offence i will just go elsewhere.
My purchasing mentality is that i need to feel that i have got a good but fair deal. I wont take the piss, but desire the same in return.

But thanks for pointing that out. Im sure it will go well and soon will be posting pics up like you guys.

  3. My local dealer. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

  4. Martin and the team at DG are spot on, they will not screw you about.

If there is a deal to be had, these guys and gals will help you achieve it. Just do remember that it's a business and no dealer will sell themselves short.

I've been dealing with DG since it opened in 2002 and they still get my business almost 14 years later.

  5. Ive bought 2 bikes from them, first was second hand and the second brand new 899 (back in Nov 2013). Very friendly staff and sorted out the brake issue I had with the 899 once the route cause was found (3rd time lucky). Martin made sure it was sorted (3rd time) and asked several times after that whenever he saw me in the shop that it was still okay. Blair the sales chap can be a bit cheeky but is a decent chap too, highly recommend them. Martin does post on here the odd time.
