I hope the V4 is fast bike because after a coffee stop it would seem that there are 8 steps to go through involving the Phone and the bike before leaving to continue a route with your mates and that would mean a lot of catching up (assuming all steps work correctly)! Right now on my 1260 it is switch on bike , Sat Nav powers up automatically from where it left off and away you go. I cant believe that that cant be made to happen on thy V4. Same thing with my car, (not an Audi) maybe that is why Audi car driver's are always playing with their Phones!
All you have to do is make sure you keep all stops in the route / day under 30 seconds. Then it’ll be almost as useful as a real satnav
Anyone had any luck with the latest app update? Still asking to connect bike for me! Once it works I do think the app will be great though
https://www.ducati.com/ww/en/ducatilink I found this the other day, installed the app and as soon as i tried to record the ride it works perfectly, all i done was installed the app in the link and set it up, it seems to make the ducati link app work, might vary but its worked for me now, interesting to know what happens when someone else tries it
