I like Matlock. Its a lovely place.

 

Matlock has parking, food , local hotels , nice roads , and camp places nearby.

 

matlock it is then, is there a traditionally dry time of year for there?

 

Mattock gets my vote.

 

April onwards is dry round here.

Cornerspeed Ducati is nearby too so if any bikes break nelly is local too.

 

I'd vote Wales. How about 2 day ride up to anglesey and a day or 2 blast back. Or...mid Wales for a sat am start then on North sat night, blast back Sunday

Be up for this, subject to location and dates. Leicestershire is central, esp if you can get onto bruntingthorpe , mallory is good but idiots in the village take exception to noisy bikes. Problem with Wales is the over eager plod. Shropshire is a beautiful area hay on Wye top place great roads
